When patients come to the practice, they’re greeted by name and with a smile. The staff members here were chosen for their personality and sense of humor, as well as their dental knowledge and skills. Dr. Scaff understands that a patient’s time is valuable, so he makes every effort to run on time. In the Treatment Room

Once checked in, a team member will bring the patient back to the treatment room. Here, they can make informed decisions that make them comfortable. Team members will always double-check a patient’s medical and dental history, and ask about any concerns they may have, fears, or prior negative experiences. They aim to soothe concerns and help patients feel comfortable before the exam and cleaning begin. Next, they’ll take a set of X-rays, photos of your face, and intraoral images. They’ll chart any existing issues and look for anything that may need addressing.

Dr. Scaff will then look over the photos and check the mouth to make sure everything looks healthy. Signs of potential gum disease will also be checked. If dental work is needed, Dr. Scaff will go over all options so patients can make an informed decision that they are comfortable with. When the exam is complete, a patient sees one of our amazing hygienists for a cleaning.

Finances

Payment is requested at the time of service. Our practice is considered out-of-network with most insurance companies but we can file the claims for patients as a courtesy. Cash, checks, debit and major credit cards, Flexible Spending, and Health Savings plans are accepted. Payment plans to help patients with the cost of treatment are also available. Long-term financing is available through Lending Club and CareCredit®.
